BZD Floor Swirl Diffusers

The floor diffuser BZD is an air diffuser that can be mounted flush with the floor and be used from low to average temperature differences between supply air and room air. The floor diffuser can be used for cooling and heating with a maximum temperature difference of approximately 6K. Two types of floor diffusers BZD 200 are available:
BZD is a floor diffuser for light load, e.g. underneath permanently fixed seats in cinemas, theatres and concert halls. The supply grille, which is the perforated top element of the floor diffuser, is manufactured from either steel, powder coated (BZD-N) or stainless steel (BZD-E).
BZD + BG incorporates reinforcement for heavy duty (domestic - according to the European standard for static loading criterias) in open floor areas.

The staircase floor diffuser SZD is designed for draught-free introduction of supply air into cinemas, theatres, lecture halls and other assembly rooms. It is vertically mounted into the steps and introduces the supply air near the ground. The staircase diffuser SZD 125 is used for volume flow rates from 6 to 11 l/s with temperature differences between supply air and room air of up to ±6 K.

The Model VM combines a robust floor grille with a swirl effect diffuser, which is suitable for cooling or heating on supply or extract air systems.

Compatible with most raised access floor tiles and ideal for installation in offices, meeting rooms, auditoriums and concert halls.

Inner grille section is removable for access and maintenance. Complete with dirt basket cum adjustable damper assembly. Separate outer flange. Swirl effect for either horizontal or vertical air pattern.

Model TAFR circular floor swirl diffuser blends both form and function into its design. The swirl diffuser face possesses a series of curved slots, which provides a high induction helical air pattern and yet results in an astonishingly low plenum pressure, making it ideal for most applications using pressurised under floor air distribution systems.

Cleverly incorporated into the design of this swirl diffuser is a manual air volume damper, which is easily adjusted by simply rotating the diffuser face. Each swirl diffuser is supplied with M6 grub screws as a damper locking screw. Visual status of the damper position is via the external open/close indicator coupled with the internal open/close stop. There is no need to remove the swirl diffuser face, a unique feature only found in the Model TAFR.

Each swirl diffuser also includes a dirt/dust collection receptacle, which is easily removed for cleaning.
